Original Art by Amanda Hinkelmann – A Tribute to Natural Flow

‘Gunhi’- Meaning ‘Mother’ in Wiradjuri Language.

Original art by Wiradjuri artist Amanda Hinkelmann- this intricate and captivating piece celebrates the quiet rhythm of nature through organic lines and layered textures. Set against a deep burgundy background, delicate ivory motifs swirl and stretch like flowing leaves or water currents. As a result, the artwork radiates warmth, movement, and balance, all while maintaining a sense of stillness.

Amanda’s process is intuitive and layered, often led by emotion and instinct. In this piece, fine lines dance freely across the canvas, creating a sense of expansion and harmony. Although minimalist in palette, the interplay of contrast and pattern adds a rich visual complexity that invites closer inspection. Each detail is hand-rendered with care, making the work not only visually appealing but deeply personal as well.

Versatile Design with Timeless Appeal

Because of its compact size and elegant composition, this artwork fits beautifully in a variety of settings—from shelves and bedside tables to gallery walls or entryways. Moreover, its neutral tones complement both modern and earthy interiors, making it a versatile addition to any home.

The original art by Amanda Hinkelmann reflects her signature style: expressive yet grounded, detailed yet fluid. It is part of a broader body of work that honours nature, femininity, and quiet reflection. Additionally, this piece is framed in natural timber and comes signed by the artist, with a certificate of authenticity included.
