“Blooming in Country”  About the Collection

Blooming in Country is a joyful tribute to the flourishing beauty of Australia’s native botanicals. This collection of six original artworks captures the lively spirit, colour, and movement of the bush- honouring the way our flora dances across the seasons and brings life to the landscapes we call home.

Each piece bursts with the quiet celebration of growth: soft blues, warm browns, creamy neutrals, and gentle pinks weave together through detailed linework and layered forms. The artworks feel both festive and grounded, echoing the vibrancy of native blooms while maintaining the tranquil elegance Amanda’s work is known for.

Together, the pieces form a chorus of botanicals- harmonious, uplifting, and full of heart. Whether admired as a full collection or enjoyed individually, these artworks invite viewers to share in the delight, wonder, and connection that Australian Country inspires.

A Word From Amanda

Creating Blooming in Country has been a celebration of the stories, colours, and rhythms that live within our native flora. As an artist, I’m constantly inspired by the joyful energy of Country-how it reveals beauty in both the grand and the subtle, and how its plants stand as symbols of resilience, culture, and renewal.

In this series, I wanted to capture that feeling of joy. Each artwork layers linework, pattern, and movement to reflect the lively pulse of the bush and the way it continues to bloom, season after season. My palette is intentionally soft yet radiant, bringing the warmth of the earth into conversation with the gentle glow of celebration.
